Danoil strives to:
- contribute to ensuring that as much as possible of fossil fuel demand in democratic countries is covered by production from democratic countries
- participate in the extraction of oil and natural gas, which can replace more CO2-emitting parts of the energy mix
- ensure Danish influence on Danish resource extraction
- ensure resource extraction under democratic ownership with accountability and safeguarding of values for co-owners
- prioritize using earnings from fossil raw material production to invest in CO2-reducing energy solutions for the benefit of company and society
- Only participate in up-stream activities as long as OK has down-stream activities
