The Solsort field is a border-straddling oil accumulation in Paleocene sands. The accumulation extends across the licences 7/89, 3/09 and 4/98.
A Declaration of Commerciality has been made and a Unitisation Agreement was agreed in April 2015, when a Unit Area was defined.
A developmentplan has been approved by authorities and partners in December 2022. A development including two development wells drilled from the Syd Arne North Platform has been initiated and is expected to start production in Q1 2024.
